Thomas Herron MD

  Dr. Herron has been in practice in Gig Harbor since 1986 and enjoys seeing children of all ages.  He has helped many families whose children have experienced school problems and attention difficulties.
  He and his wife, Verna, have raised four sons and are passionate about bicycling, hiking and running as well as reading.
  Dr. Herron founded Harbor Pediatrics in 1999.

Diane Bartels MD

  Dr. Bartels has a particular interest in newborns and new parents.  She and  her husband, Moritz, are relatively new to Gig Harbor and have a young son and daughter.  They enjoy equestrian sports, traveling and reading.

Danielle Bellotti DO

  Dr. Bellotti and her husband recently moved to Gig Harbor from Cleveland, OH.  They have two boys and two dogs.
She enjoys kids of all ages but takes special interest in infants, sports medicine and adolescents.
   Outside of work, she enjoys playing soccer, hiking and snowboarding.  Other interests include art and music.
Dr. Bellotti is leaving our practice on June 9th so she can spend more time with her two young sons. 

Melanie Brace MD

M.D. University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
Psychiatry/Child Psychiatry training at University of Washington, Seattle.

  Dr. Brace, a board certified child and adolescent Psychiatrist, provides psychiatric consultations to patients established in the practice at Harbor Pediatrics.  She provides diagnosis and treatment for most childhood mental health disorders and referrals for other therapies as needed.  Common conditions treated include: Autism spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Anxiety disorders, Mood disorders and stress related conditions.
  After residency, Dr. Brace practiced as a consultant and inpatient Psychiatrist for 6 years at Children's Hospital in Seattle and has been treating patients in Gig Harbor since 2001.
  Outside of work, she and her husband and three children enjoy outdoor recreation such as camping, hiking and biking as well as theatre and other performing arts.

Robyn Brand MD

  Dr. Brand loves all aspects of pediatrics with a particular interest in dermatology and infectious disease.
  She and her husband, Tim, spend much of their time chasing after their young son and also enjoy diving, fishing, hiking and camping.

Jennifer Hartz MD

  Dr. Hartz enjoys caring for children of all ages but especially newborns and adolescents.  She recently moved to Gig Harbor with her husband, Doug and their two children.  Originally from the desert, they love anything on or near the water and, as a family, they like to spend their time outdoors or traveling.


Jennifer Lee DO

Dr. Lee enjoys all aspects of Pediatrics and has a particular interest in asthma care, obesity medicine and newborn care.  She and her husband recently moved to Gig Harbor from Oklahoma; however they are originally from the Northwest.  They are looking forward to starting a family and being part of the Gig Harbor community.  They enjoy all aspects of being outdoors in the Northwest including hiking, biking, snowboarding, and gardening. They also love spending time with their dog and helping out at local dog shelters.

Denise Michaelsen MD

Dr. Michaelsen has a particular interest in allergy and immunology, adolescent reproductive health and newborn care. However, she enjoys all aspects of general pediatrics.  She and her husband, Dave, recently moved to Gig Harbor from South Carolina along with their three young children.  As a family they enjoy the outdoors, water sports and snow skiing.

Katherine Schwartz ARNP

Katherine Schwartz enjoys caring for children of all ages and has a special interest in diabetes management and sports related injuries. Katherine believes that the best treatment emerges from a strategic partnership that involves the child, the family and the healthcare provider.

Katherine grew up in Kirkland and in her spare time enjoys running, yoga, traveling and reading.

Matthew Wilson MD

Dr. Wilson had the privilege of teaching high school for 11 years prior to becoming a physician and enjoys working with parents to ensure that each child has the opportunity to grow and reach his/her full potential.  This includes the aspects of mental, physical and social health.  He has particular interests in the care of medically complex/fragile patients and internationally-adopted chldren.
He and his wife, Marca, have 3 daughters who happen to be adopted from China and enjoy traveling and a wide variety of outdoor activities. Dr. Wilson is leaving our practice and moving back to Georgia as of June 23rd.
